Home Economics should be a core subject, I believe!  After all, not everyone may be a scientist or a historian, but everyone will care for a home at some point in their lives.  That "home" may just be a college dorm, or a tent on a distant mission field, but the "owner" will still have to care for it.  Even boys that plan to marry a great cook will have to cook for their families when their wives are sick.  It's such an integral, no-brainer part of life, I'm amazed that it's not a core subject!  In this section are great cooking, sewing, and home care programs that will help you to pass on a great homemaking legacy to your children.
