Originally designed to supplement your current studies in chemistry, I personally think it could stand alone as a basic chemistry course. Using fun recipes, it teaches some basic chemistry principles. No watered-down science here! - your 6 year old can learn basic chemistry principles in a familiar setting- the kitchen!

Well, I think I found my new favorite science. These books are truly fantastic! The labs are fun. The photos and diagrams are stunning. The text is well-written, thorough, and interesting. And, the overall curriculum is set up in such a way as to not be intimidating to use for non-science-minded people such as myself.
