Please note that though this book has a cover that looks like Easy Grammar, it is set up just like Daily Grams. 80 ten-minute reviews. Includes answer key. If you're like me (and your kids are like mine) you probably see little practical value in spending lots of time in a formal study of grammar. Grammar, like learning to speak, is best learned by immersion: read lots of great literature, and listen to and participate in conversations with well-spoken individuals. However, for college testing and traditional education, our kids need to be familiar with grammar terminology and useage. Daily Grams drills your students by presenting them with approximately 5 sentences each day. The first sentence will require capitalization. The second sentence requires punctuation. The third and fourth sentences drill the students on parts of speech like verbs, nouns, etc. (Examples are given right on the page, if your student is unsure what a verb is, for example.) the final exercise presents 2 or more short, choppy sentences that must be creatively combined into one, longer, more interesting sentence. Each consumeable book contains an answer key. It's an easy way to keep your student up-to-speed on his grammar skills without wasting time that could be better spent on more important skills. This is the first book in the series. Regularly priced at $24.95.....
