This is the Mp3 version audio book for Apologia General Science. This is not the companion CD, so it doesn't contain the visuals. The CD will work in a computer or a MP3 compatible CD player. It will not run in a CD player that is not MP3 compatible. If your CD player is MP3 compatible, it will say so right on the CD player. The MP3 compression allows the entire book to fit on one CD. Without MP3 compression, it would take approximately 16 CDs to hold audio of the entire student text! If your student is an auditory learner and does better with having the textbook read to him, than you'll appreciate this audio version.
