Chemistry Made Interesting and Fun!

Chemistry 101 DVD course takes an often avoided and boring subject and makes it an exciting, easy to understand, visually rich experience. Chemistry 101 is geared toward ages 15 years and up. The film is full of accurate and fascinating information coupled with hundreds of eye-catching visuals and graphics. The Guidebook allows the student to easily review all the information covered in the films. Each guidebook segment includes a multiple choice quiz and discussion questions. A one-year highschool course booklet is included for families who want a year-long chemistry course. The one weakness of this course is the lack of real labs. That is easily overcome by purchasing one of the lab books mentioned below. (This is how we did it with my high school daughter who wasn't heading to college on a science-based major.)

Chemistry 101 guides you through the science of chemistry; untangling and decoding complex terms and ideas into an organized, easy to use format. Chemistry 101 homeschool high school DVD course will give your students a thorough overview of the world of chemistry.

My high school aged children love Chemistry 101. They (and Mom) are not into long science lessons with labs, so this video series fits our style perfectly. The DVD host is engaging and the material is presented from a Biblical worldview. For each section, there are pages you can print out from the DVD/CD which contain further information and questions about that section. I print out these pages, place them in a 3-ring binder, and the kids complete them after watching the DVD section.
