Apologia Science

Apologia Science is always discounted at Schoolhouse Publishing!

Apologia has put together some of the finest science curriculum available today for homeschoolers. These books are God honoring, scientifically sound, and user friendly.

The Young Explorer series, written by Jeannie Fulbright, is for elementary homeschool students. The Young Explorer series is my favorite elementary science program. I can't say enough about these wonderful, colorful books, their creative ideas, and how easy they are to use. They encourage lap booking - which I love.

The Exploring Creation series for Middle School and High School Homeschool Students are complete college-prep science courses, and include labs. Though I admit I’ve never been overly comfortable with Apologia high school science (thanks to my lack of science-brainedness), I keep coming back to them, because - frankly - they are so well done. I love Apologia General Science (grade 7+) and Physical Science (grade 8+). Apologia Biology (grade 9+)...well, that's where my science brain (or lack thereof) breaks down. Apologia Biology is a difficult course. (By the way, it is advertised as college-prep, so this would make sense.) The flip side is that a friend of mine has a daughter who was not headed into this field, yet she loved Apologia Biology and read through it just for the fun of it! That’s why it’s important to research each product and not rely on one person’s opinion! No matter what your opinion is concerning Apologia High School science, you will find that Apologia Science is the finest homeschool science curriculum on the market today.
